Burkina Faso
This country is a classic destination for those who want to know Africa choosing
both comfort and adventure. It is an area with many attractions with Man
mountains, the mountain chain of the North, the tropical forests of the centre
and the heavenly beaches. The ethnic group preserve their own traditions and a
beautiful handicraft production of Bauli, Senoufos, Dannos, etc. Cosmopolitan
cities and villages to visit!
DAY 1: Abidjŕn
Arrival at Abidjan airport, transfer to Gran Bassam.
Dinner and overnight staying at the hotel.
DAY 2: Gran Bassam
City sight of the colonial city of Gran Bassam, visit of the of the handicraft
centre and of the museum. In the afternoon visit of the big market of Bassam and
of the handicraft of this city. Dinner and overnight staying at the hotel
Taverne – Bassamoise****.
DAY 3: Gran Bassam - Yamoussoukro
Leaving in the morning direction to Yammoussokro, political and administrative
capital of Ivory Coast. Visit of Notre Dame de la Paix. Visit to the crocodiles
lake that control the presidential palace.
Dinner and overnight staying at the hotel Presidente****.
DAY 4: Yamoussoukro - Bouakč
After the breakfast leaving to Bouakč, the most important city of Baule region.
Lunch in a maquis, restaurant of Bouakč. In the afternoon city sight and visit
of the market.
Dinner and overnight staying at the hotel Ran***.
DAY 5: Bouakč - Korhogo
Leaving in the afternoon direction to the North region of the Ivory Coast, to
the village Senoufo. Visit to the traditional Mangoro ceramic laboratories in
Katiola, lunch at the hotel Mont Korhogo. In the afternoon visit to some
villages as Fakaha (villages of traditional Senoufo painters), Waranniene (village
of Malinkč weavers). Possibility to see a traditional Senoufo dance, the so
called boloye. Dinner and overnight staying at the hotel Mont Korhogo.
DAY 6: Korhogo - Odienme
Visit to Koni, village of the traditional blacksmiths and visit to Odienme,
capital of North – West in Malinkč region. Along the way visit to Niofin, lunch.
Direction to Odienme crossing millet, cotton and tuber cultivations. Arrival and
visit. Dinner and overnight staying at the hotel Essi Lianes***.
DAY 7: Odienme - Gouessesso
Direction to Gouessesso, village of Yacouba located at 600mt height. The
tourists will pass Silakoro, village of holy fish and Godofouma, where a
traditional dance, “gueblin”, will be performed easily called “echassier”. Lunch
in Touba and direction to Gouessesso crossing Bian Kouma, a village of holy
houses. Arrival and visit.
Dinner and lodging.
DAY 8: Gouessesso - Daloa
Direction to Man, capital in the West of the Yacouba country. Visit to the
bridge of lianas and visit to the Man waterfall. The traditional dance of “El
temale” will be performed. Lunch and visit of the mask market. Direction to
Daloa, chief town of Centre – West . Arrival and city sight.
Dinner and overnight staying at the hotel Ambassadeurs***.
DAY 9: Daloa – San Pedro
After the breakfast direction to San Pedro. Portal city of the Ivory Coast.
Dinner and overnight staying at the hotel San Pedro***.
DAY 10: San Pedro - Sassandra
Direction to the heavenly region of Ivory Coast. At the arrival relax time in
the swimming pool of the hotel or on the beaches of white sand.
Dinner and lodging.
DAY 11: Sassandra
Whole day dedicated to the relax on the beach. Optional excursion. Hotel Beach****.
DAY 12: Sassandra - Abidjan
Direction to the economic capital of Ivory Coast. Cosmopolitan city of the West
part. Visit to Fanico where thousands of young people wash their clothes and
city of San Pablo Cathedral.
In the afternoon transfer to the airport.
